Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization): TGO and Chiang Mai University (CMU) as a project consultant have jointly implemented the Low Carbon Industry Development for Supporting the Mitigation of Greenhouse Gas and Global-warming in the Eastern Economic Corridor Project: Phase 2 with four main project objectives that are 1) to study the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission potential of the New S-Curve industries in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), 2) to formulate policy recommendations and action plans to promote the New S-Curve industries in the EEC as
low-carbon industry, 3) to upgrade the industries in the EEC to become low-carbon industries by using the tools developed by TGO, and 4) to improve the function of the GHG Mitigation Information Platform including surveying and adding the database of the industrial technologies in the platform.
